You’ve been using Everything DiSC® for a while — as a participant, manager, or HR professional — and you’re considering taking the step towards certification. But what does that term actually cover? What does certification bring you in practical terms? And how do you choose the right path to prepare for it?
This guide answers those questions in a complete way, without jargon and without overpromising.
What is Everything DiSC® certification?
Everything DiSC® certification is issued by Wiley, the publisher of the model. It confirms that you understand the tool’s theoretical foundations and that you’re able to facilitate it with groups or in one-to-one coaching.
This isn’t a theoretical course on human behaviour in general. It’s practical training, focused on the tool and on your ability to bring it to life in a professional context. Once certified, you can:
- Facilitate Everything DiSC® workshops for your teams or your clients
- Administer and interpret profiles via Wiley’s EPIC platform
- Order profiles at preferential rates
- Access all Wiley learning resources (facilitation kits, videos, Catalyst modules)
Who is certification for?
Everything DiSC® certification is for a wide range of profiles, brought together by a shared goal: helping individuals and teams work better together.
Our typical participants include: independent consultants and coaches who want to add a recognised tool to their practice; HR or L professionals who want to bring DiSC facilitation in-house; managers who want to understand the tool in depth to integrate it into their leadership approach; trainers looking to stand out with a scientifically validated tool.
Certification doesn’t require prior facilitation experience, but some initial exposure to the DiSC model — as a workshop participant or through self-study — makes it easier to absorb.
What the certification training covers
The Everything DiSC® certification programme covers four main areas:
- The DiSC model: history, scientific foundations, differences between Everything DiSC® and other versions on the market
- Profile interpretation: how to read a profile, understand the dot’s position on the circle, distinguish natural style from adapted style
- Facilitation: lead a session with confidence, handle tricky questions, adapt content to the group
- The EPIC platform: manage participant accounts, send and collect questionnaires, generate reports
Certification takes place in several stages: self-paced learning modules (Wiley e-learning), then a group training session led by a certified trainer, and finally a final assessment.
Direct Wiley certification or via an authorised partner?
You can certify directly through Wiley (programme in English, international sessions) or via an authorised Wiley partner like Learning Partners. This second option offers several practical advantages:
- Training is delivered in French
- You benefit from personalised support before, during and after certification
- Sessions are tailored to the European context and the challenges of French-speaking organisations
- Post-certification follow-up is offered to help you launch your first workshops
The total cost of certification (Wiley fees + training) varies depending on the route you choose and the package selected. Feel free to contact us for a quote tailored to your situation.
How long does it take to get certified?
The Everything DiSC® certification programme typically requires two to three days of training, plus self-paced e-learning modules (around 4 to 6 hours). Preparation beforehand — reading your personal profile, getting familiar with the model — can take a few weeks depending on your availability.
Certification does not expire, but Wiley recommends staying up to date with product developments, especially new features in the Catalyst platform.
What happens after certification?
Certification opens the door. What makes the long-term difference is practice. The facilitators who progress fastest are those who run their first workshops in the weeks following certification — and who rely on a network to share experiences.
At Learning Partners, we offer post-certification support to help you structure your first engagements, prepare your materials, and handle delicate facilitation situations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Everything DiSC® certification recognised in France?
Certification is recognised by HR and organisational development professionals in French-speaking countries. It isn’t listed on the RNCP, but it is backed by Wiley’s scientific validation and recognised by major organisations that use DiSC.
Can I get certified if I’ve never delivered training?
Yes. Certification is accessible to beginners in facilitation. It includes facilitation training elements, and Wiley materials are designed to help a new facilitator run a session with confidence.
What’s the difference between Everything DiSC® Workplace certification and the other products?
The core certification covers the full DiSC model. Specific certifications are available for Management, Work of Leaders, Sales and Five Behaviors® — for facilitators who want to specialise in one of these products.
How do I access the EPIC platform after certification?
Your EPIC access is activated once certification is complete. From this platform, you’ll manage participants, distribute questionnaires, and generate profiles. Learning Partners supports you as you get to grips with the tool.
