Here is how an EPIC administrator account works.
The EPIC profile management platform works with EPIC Credits, a virtual currency. When you purchase EPIC credits for your EPIC Account, they become the currency used to purchase profile reports in the EPIC system. Each profile report in the EPIC system is assigned a credit value. EPIC Credits are deducted from the supply of credits in your account when access codes are assigned to respondents.
EPIC Credits can be used for any profile report available in EPIC.
EPIC Credits do not expire. When you purchase EPIC credits in quantity, they become cheaper.

Do I need to purchase an EPIC Account ?
The EPIC account — useful, but not essential
EPIC is Wiley’s online platform that allows you to purchase, manage and distribute Everything DiSC® and Five Behaviors® profiles directly, via a credit system (1 credit = 6 USD).
An EPIC account provides access to a centralised dashboard: tracking orders, sending assessment links to participants, creating sub-accounts for in-house facilitators, and managing your order history.
Should you sign up?
It depends on your volume and the level of autonomy you require.
If you order profiles on an ad hoc basis or in small quantities, purchasing via Learning Partners is sufficient — you avoid the set-up fee (330 USD, or 55 credits), without any loss of quality or access to Catalyst for participants.
An EPIC account becomes relevant in two situations: either you reach a regular volume sufficient to recoup the costs and benefit from autonomous management, or you are a certified facilitator who wishes to order your own profiles without an intermediary and manage multiple clients or sub-accounts.
In summary: for most of Learning Partners’ client organisations, going through LP is simpler and less expensive. EPIC is more suited to certified practitioners or large organisations that wish to fully in-house the management of profiles.
What is the difference between a credit and a profile?
A credit is a unit of purchase. Each profile has a credit cost depending on its type and language. For example, a Workplace Profile in English costs 15 credits, while the same profile in French costs 22 credits.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits purchased remain available indefinitely on your EPIC account. Furthermore, they can be used to purchase any type of profile. However, each profile has its own value, expressed in credits.
Can I buy credits in small quantities?
Yes, from as little as 1 credit. However, the unit price decreases with volume — so planning your orders in advance is more cost-effective.
What happens if I don't have enough credits to order a profile?
You can purchase additional credits at any time from your EPIC account before placing the order of a particular profile.
Can a participant complete their questionnaire in any language?
Yes. When sending the link, you choose the language of the questionnaire and profile. Note that the credit cost varies depending on the language selected.
Can I share my EPIC account with other administrators?
Yes. The EPIC platform allows multiple admin users on the same account or sub-account.
